This teleclass will refresh your thinking on vertical aquatic training, and help you empower your participants to engage in mindful movement. We will consider the stated purpose of group / personal aquatic training sessions, and why people are really there. Connie will ask you to reflect on participant satisfaction. A comprehensive Teleclass handout includes useful strategies to keep instructors and participants 'in the moment' and mindfully engaged. We will discuss factors that distract people from achieving their best; class design to avoid muscle imbalance; and creating success with smooth transitions. Choreography ideas for exercise and stretch are included.
